Run details are then checked / altered as required and the run is started by pressing the run button on the control panel. Prior to the run the method can be customised or changed to a previously saved method from either the instrument window (top) or the run parameter page (above).

During a run the data will be displayed on the data acquisition screen (see below). The data can be displayed on a fixed scale (at whatever levels you choose) or you can zoom in and out using the mouse at any point. The screen can also be used to display other chromatograms (standards etc) and overlay the new data if this is required. The screen can also be used when no data is being acquired to check baseline noise etc.
