The secondhand equipment listed on these pages is all sold in working order, unless otherwise stated.

We offer a 3 months return to base warranty on used equipment, from installation date.  The warranty excludes lamp, piston seals, pistons and check valves. 

In the event that we are unable to repair the equipment we would, at our option, offer an equivalent item as a replacement or a refund of the purchase price.

TSP Constametric 3200 system

Isocratic system consisting of a Constametric 3200 pump and detector.  It is very robust, and in very clean condition, inside and out, fitted with cartridge check valves so maintenance costs are low.  The Spectromonitor 3200 detector is also in good condition with a good lamp and cell, and gives a very quiet baseline.

Used Rheodyne 7125 £100.00 A good valve but has no contact closure to start a data system.

A new Rheodyne 7725 £795.00 An outstanding valve, with built in contact closure, Make Before Break technology, and several other benefits.

A new Ecosystem valve. £495.00 Less expensive, has the contact closure, but not MBB.

A fixed volume autosampler. Injects the loop volume each time. Very precise and reproducible.

A variable volume autosampler. Can inject variable volumes, but less precise.

Data System Options:

Clarity Data System, for 1 HPLC with 1 detector. £3295.00 inc computer and UK installation. Can be upgraded for up to four HPLC's with up to 10 data channels each. Can also control some autosamplers, pumps and detectors.

Clarity Lite Data System. £2295 inc computer and installation. As above but with a few restrictions. Can also be upgraded, but the upgrade cost is higher.

Kontron Isocratic system

The 420 pump is a very strong and reliable 2-pistons pump. This pump is fitted with new check valve cartridges and piston seals, and has been thoroughly checked over. It has a solvent bottle try fixed to the top (this has some spillage damage to the paint inside) but provides a safe and tidy storage for solvent bottles.

The model 432 detector is very sensitive, and was for years the flagship detector for Kontron. This unit will be fitted with a new lamp. A manual valve or autosampler, and a data system will be required to use this system, and these are available.

As above but witha a model 465 autosampler.  The autosampler is in excellent condition and was top of the range for Kontron and uses an electrically driven valve.
