The secondhand equipment listed on these pages is all sold in working order, unless otherwise stated.

We offer a 3 months return to base warranty on used equipment, from installation date.  The warranty excludes lamp, piston seals, pistons and check valves. 

In the event that we are unable to repair the equipment we would, at our option, offer an equivalent item as a replacement or a refund of the purchase price.

Jasco PU980 Intelligent isocratic pump

This is one pf the most compact pumps on the market and quite sought after. It has been tested and is in good working order. The case is quite clean but does have some marks. But we have used the pump for several months and it has worked perfectly.

Waters 510 Isocratic Pump

These pumps run forever! This one is sold with new piston seals. we have at least three of these pumps!

Waters M6000 Isocratic Pump. The Land Rover of HPLC! Noisy (both audibly and on the baseline), but goes on forever. If you are tempted i recommend you buy a model 510 (see above) because the round pumpheads are less susceptible to air bubble trouble. But if you prefer this one, we would be delighted to sell it to you! I recommend this pump if you want something to flush columns, rather than as an everyday HPLC pump.

Kontron 414 pump

This is an old style single piston pump. It accelerates the motor through the refil stroke to give reasonably smooth flow. The pump works fine, and spare seals etc are still available.

You may need to use a service company to replace the seals though, because they need a special tool to fit them.

I recommned this pump for flushing columns etc, rather than as a serious HPLC pump. However it will do this very well, and for very low cost.
